- Write a book review on Amazon.com in your area of expertise or thought leadership; this post will become a part of your online ID.
- Infuse your LinkedIn Profile with the key differentiators you identified though the Reach 360 and the Same Different Exercise
- Subscribe to a blog in your area of thought leadership and post a comment on the blog. That blog post will become part of your permanent online ID.
- Include your brand attributes or your Personal Brand Statement (PBS) in your signature file (email).
- Write an article and have it published by your professional association. This is a way to increase your visibility outside your organization and raise your profile among your peers.
- Buy your domain name so that no one else can claim your brand.
- Google yourself regularly and track your results. What do people find out when they Google you? As you track your results, notice if the volume and relevance increases.
- Post your goals somewhere you will see them every day. This will remind you to focus on the things that are important to you.
- Add value to your organization with everything you do - every meeting you attend, every customer you interact with, and every telephone call you participate in.
